Plastering, Rendering & Property Maintenance in the South Hams

20+ years of trusted local craftsmanship

Plastering & Property Services in the South Hams

New Finish Plastering & Maintenance provides professional plastering, rendering, traditional lime work, damp proofing, insulation, soundproofing, decorating and property renovation services across the South Hams and surrounding areas.

With more than 20 years of experience, we work on everything from modern homes and extensions to period cottages and older properties requiring more traditional materials and methods.

We take particular care when working with solid-wall and heritage properties, where breathable finishes such as lime plaster and lime render can be important to the long-term condition of the building.

13th Century Cottage

Restoration of this historic cottage using traditional lime materials and methods. Unsuitable modern materials had contributed to moisture retention and deterioration of the original fabric, so these were carefully replaced with breathable lime mortar. The work was carried out sympathetically to preserve the character of the property while protecting the building for years to come.
